I photographed Aesop’s new Aromatique Room Sprays in two historic homes in Los Angeles: the Neutra VDL House in Silver Lake and the Schindler House in West Hollywood.
I photographed Laura Vassar Brock and Kris Brock of the Brock Collection at their studio in L.A.’s Fashion District for an article in the August 2017 issue of Surface. The magazine asked me to shoot the entire story on the iPhone 7, a fun change of pace. Took a little while to feel like I was actually taking pictures. More photos below.
The Surfrider Foundation organizes beach cleanups every weekend in Venice. Madewell team members from across the L.A. area participated, and I photographed the event for Madewell’s social media, blog, and newsletter.
I photographed Harwell Hamilton Harris’s Birtcher-Share House, in Mount Washington, for the May 2017 issue of Monocle. Built in 1942, the house is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.
I photographed a collaboration between Voice of Witness and Aesop at the latter’s Silver Lake store.
I participated in the Hidden Photo, which asks photographers to share a photograph that they’ve never shared before. I have thousands of those, but I wanted to find one that I had overlooked in the past but that meant something to me today, and I came upon one from March 2006, of my then-boyfriend’s dog, Sally, running up Deer Creek Road in Malibu. I wrote more about the image and what it means to me on The Hidden Photo. Check it out.
